AN EXTRA FLEXIBLE CABLE

The Powerflex Plus cable has been designed with a flexible Class 5 electrolytic copper conductor, as prescribed by IEC 60228.The use of flexible class 5 copper conductors and flexible compounds gives the Powerflex RV-K cable extreme flexibility. In addition, flexible copper conductors do not crack in the face of vibration. CABLES OF + 90ºC and -40ºC

The crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation of the Powerflex RV-K cable allows a maximum and continuous conductor temperature of 90ºC(compared to 70ºC in PVC insulated cables). The 90ºC cables admit higher current capacity than the standard 70ºC cables. They support more rigorous installations, extending the useful life of the electrical installation.Powerflex RV-K is also designed to operate reliably even at -40ºC in fixed installations.

FRONT FEATURES

The Powerflex cable isflame retardant, complying with the requirements of the combustion tests of the IEC 60332-1 standard.

ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE

ThePowerflex RV-Kcable can be installed inall types of environmental conditions, such as wet and dry areas, outdoor installation, buried, and even submerged in water.

ABILITY TO OVERLOAD

Powerflex RV-Kcables withstand short-circuit temperatures up to 250ºC, much higher than cables insulated with PVC (which only support 160ºC), for the same cable section.

RESISTANCE TO THE WEATHER

The outer cover ofspecial PVC is protected against UV rays, providing excellent resistance to weathering and allowing its installation outdoors, without affecting the useful life of the cable.
